About climate consultancy

Projections of the Earth's climate are based on scenarios of future greenhouse gas emissions and other human activities, known as the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs). These scenarios describe the evolution of meteorological conditions over the next century, including changes in temperature, precipitation, and sea level, and are presented in the latest IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).
Climate change projections for Denmark are analysed in the Danish Climate Atlas published by the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), and similar regional assessments are available for other parts of the North Sea–Baltic Sea region. Climate scenarios for the Arctic, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and the wider North Atlantic are assessed both in the IPCC report and in more detailed peer-reviewed research publications.
ClimateLab provides research-based advisory services on climate change and climate adaptation, drawing on the latest scientific analyses of future climate conditions.
